Fort Pierce is a very serene city about 14 miles from the city of Port Saint Lucie, Florida. A modest but rapidly expanding community, Fort Pierce gets better every year. Because Fort Pierce is the sister city of San Francisco, California, on the west coast—also known as the Sunset City—it was given the moniker Sunrise City.
